Cassandra Monique Batie also known as Andra is a American R&B soul, soul and singer/songwriter. Alongside an award like a Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award she is also nominated as the winner of an Academy Award. Andra Day is a ferocious singer and artful songwriter who is not just a throwback R&B expert. Her roots in gospel jazz as well as the blues displayed with ease and finesse translate to the present. The album she released her debut, Cheers To The Autumn (2015) is a smash success in the genre of R&B/hiphop that earned her a host of Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Stand Up for Something (2017), her contribution to Marshall's soundtrack earned both accolades. Amen (2018) and the song Make Your Troubles go Away (2020) as well as the Golden Globe winning portrayal of Billie Holiday (The United States vs. Billie Holiday 2021) are all contributing to the excitement for her next album. Andra Day was birthed Cassandra Monique Batie, in Edmonds Washington. She grew as a child in San Diego and the metropolitan city. In the area, she performed in churches and enrolled in the School of Creative and Performing Arts. The singer later was signed to Warner Bros. Records and began work with the producer Adrian Gurvitz on her debut album Cheers to the fall (2015). It featured the track Rise Up which is now a worldwide song of the social justice movement. Day was awarded two Grammy nominations, one of which was for Best R&B Album. The United States Versus Billie Holiday is a biographie of Holiday which was released in the same year. Andi Mattichak is an American actor. She made her television debut in series such as 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods prior to making her feature film debut as Allyson Nelson on the film horror series Halloween as well as its sequels. Andi Mattichak was born on the 3rd of May, 1994 in Framingham Mass.
