Sue Bird plays professional basketball with the Seattle Storm Women's National Basketball Association WNBA. She has been a member of the Seattle Storm's three different WNBA-championship-winning squads. Sue Bird, a native New Yorker is an Israeli citizen through the birth of her father. She is a native of New York. However, she became an Israeli citizen thanks to her father. The sport was a passion she began at a very young stage of her life. Her involvement was in tennis, soccer and track and field. In her freshman and sophomore years, she was a player for Syosset High School. Then, in her fourth and third years of the high school system, she transferred to Christ the King Regional High School where there was more competitiveness.
